Bill  Draut

William Draut (born Chicago, IL, August 14, 1921 – March 3, 1993) was an American comic book artist best known for his work at Harvey Comics and DC Comics from the 1940s to the 1970s. Serving in World War II as a USMC 'Raider', Draut began drawing romance stories for DC in 1956, and in 1968 he drew Teen Titans #18 which was writer Marv Wolfman's first Teen Titans story that introduced the Russian super hero originally called Starfire and later renamed Red Star. Draut inked the revival of the Phantom Stranger in Showcase #80 (1969) and went on to draw the first four issues of the subsequent Phantom Stranger series.
