The Button is a story arc that takes place after the events of Flashpoint and leads into the Doomsday Clock event, 7 years after the events of Watchmen, and is the direct sequel to it! Batman finds the Comedian's bloody button from Watchmen, in the Batcave where Flash's speed force lightning had struck, and the Watchmen are brought into the DC Universe! Rendered in ink over graphite on 2 separate, standard size Bristol boards. Click on the add'l images to view each piece of cover art separately along with the main printed comicbook versions.
This deluxe cover image was initially created from 2 separate cover images merged into 1 as a lenticular cover, as well as a non-lenticular edition --subsequently the image(s) have been used at least a dozen times, including but not limited to:
