The Button is a story arc that takes place after the events of Flashpoint and leads into the Doomsday Clock event, 7 years after the events of Watchmen, and is the direct sequel to it! Batman finds the Comedian's bloody button from Watchmen, in the Batcave where Flash's speed force lightning had struck, and the Watchmen are brought into the DC Universe!
