Large and captivating image of our heroine on this original artwork for the record jacket cover to 'The Ballad of Red Sonja' that first premiered/performed at Lily Lantry's Saloon and Eating Place in Old Bridge, New Jersey. Image measures 9 x 9" and is rendered in ink over graphite on 11 x 11" heavy Crescent Illustration board. Note the figure of Red Sonja along with most of the left side of this cover is a vintage photostat --the entire right right of the cover is hand-drawn original artwork, including all of the hand-drawn lettering directly onto the board (which includes the 'First Lady of Sword and Sorcery' on the top left).
